Could someone please explain to me what the deal is with the Foo Fighters?

I don't get it. 

They must tour here every year.  50,000 people bought tickets to see them (again) last night.  Why?

But I have to say I'm a little excited about Christian Bale's caped crusader comeback next year -  movie #3 in the trilogy is set for release in July.

I was never that sure about Bruno -
kinda thought he was a pretty little douche
but I did think his dancing was nifty in the Amy Winehouse tribute he did earlier this year at the MTV music awards.

But this is the deal breaker right here -
I am sure Michael Jackson would have been up for it, I'm not so sure what Kurt would have thought and Jack White's probably being sick in his mouth -
